Trapped?

"Hmm... You will never be able to retreat from what is already in progress..." Flinch ran up to Joseph and looked at Vertex rolling around.
"Is it time yet?"

Vertex then propelled himself up high into the air, and shot straight at Joseph's head, aiming to knock it off.

Suddenly, a huge portal opens up, and comes out of it 2 figures that look familiar...
"Father and Leon?" Shage Exclaimed.

"Hmph, lets get on with this," Leon squeaked.

"Agreed," Cron said with a joyus voice, and thus, the two characters joined the fight!

Shage, seeing that it would be a bad idea to run now, teleported to Flinch, grabbing his energy sword while transforming into his origonal form. "You are to much of a threat to humanity." Shage then stabbed Flinch in the stomach.....


Cron dashed to Joseph, charging his energy, (Leon walked over to Joseph, also charging his energy) not noticing what Shage was doing.

OoC: Horray for plot twists!

As he got closer to Joseph, Vertex just got faster. He turned upward a bit and rammed into Joseph's head successfully, using about half his energy doing so.

Cron and Leon then let out a huge energy blast at Joseph, taking about 3/4's of their energy.

Vertex then returned to his normal blue self, panting. He heard a noise coming from something. Vertex looked around to see what it was, and it appeared to be coming out of a radio on Spade. He hit the button on the radio.

"Spade's dead."

Leon then opened another portal. "Where are you going?" Cron asked Leon, still tired from the energy. "How about you come with me and see." Leon answered, then immedeatily going into the portal. Cron follows, thus the portal closes.

"Would I be kidding?" Vertex started, "I don't even know who the heck you are, one of Spade's friends I assume, so why would I kid at a time like this? Flinch died too. He was part of some organization when he got stabbed by Shage. A lot has happened today."

"Somewhere in the distant north, I think." Vertex just remembered that the main objective was to get out of that region, but because of what happened, that was the least of his worries.

"I'll be there as soon as possible."

30 minutes later...

Later, a wolf came on the scene to see some scattered items and the corpses of Spade and Flinch. "...Joseph?" The wolf looked puzzled. What's the batfox Kira doing here? Regardless, 3000 rings says he's responsible for the death of Spade, and maybe Flinch. "SOL CALIBUR!!!" A sword of blue fire formed in his hands. He ran up and attempted to stab Joseph.

Leon and Cron got out the portal in front of Haden, and Leon explained, "I wouldn't fire that lazer, Durex has planted bombs all over your planet. If you destroy Earth, we set off the bombs, and your cities and towers will fall. So what do you pick?"

"Time to end this." Fire in his eyes, Sage stabbed Joseph through. He then turned around, used a strange force to lift Spade into the air, snapped his fingers, and Spade disappeared. He gathered up some things, turned to Vertex, and said, "Come on. We can't get anything done here. SOL CONTROL!!!" Sage picked up Vertex, and teleported to where all the action was happening. He saw the three on the floor, and the metalized Flinch destroying the lazor. "Flinch! You can't destroy such an amazing piece of technology like that! YOU GOTS TO SMASH IT!!!!" Sage pulled the blaster part off of the cannon, and proceeded to smash the machine with it.

"Hey, I can do stuff too." Vertex got out his ban hammer from his...magic inventory? And started bashing away at the control panel.

(Doesn't everything that comes into contact with a banhammer cease to exist, and that's why they can only be wielded by admins? )

(Only with people, and not with machines. )

(Aah.)

In minutes, the machine looked somewhat like what a house would look like if it collapsed, then was beaten with a spiked mace, while it was being torched with a flamethrower. "Do you think we disarmed it?"

"No doubt," Vertex replied. "If it still works, I'll jump off the edge right now." He laughed with confidence.

"Good. I'm Sage, by the way." Sage took out his cell phone, and entered a number. "Hey, it's me. ... I'm fine, Spade, however is a different story. ....Dead." Sage moved the phone about a foot away from his ear. "Calm down. He was my friend too. I'm not being heartless. Edwidan. Edwidan, calm down. Calm down, Edwidan! I told you to calm down! JUST SHUT UP AND LISTEN TO ME!!!! He's dead, and we can't bring him back to life by yelling over the phone!" There was a pause. Sage glanced at his watch. "On a small planet, approximately 20,000 miles away from the tip of the ice cap. Okay, bye." He hung up. "Sorry about that. Now, we wait."
